Could you give a little more information about the error?  When is the error popping up for you?  Is it when you open the email client or is it when you try to attach a Laserfiche entry to an email?  If the error comes up when you try to attach a file from Laserfiche to an email, can you verify that you're able to view the file by opening it in Laserfiche?

There's an instance that I've seen this error come up where the drive that stored the volumes weren't online after an upgrade which stopped Laserfiche from properly attaching the file.  Let us know if you're able to see the file through the client and we can take another look at why this error may be coming up.

No problem, while in outlook 2010, select Laserfiche from the menu bar and select any of the 3 buttons to send an email or attachment to Laserfiche will generate the error.   Save to Laserfiche, Save to open folder, or Save Attachments to Laserfiche all generate the error.

We are currently dragging them into the Laserfiche client, but would prefer to go straight from outlook.

Thanks for that information!  Please try the following steps to see if this resolves the issue:

In the Laserfiche Desktop Client, navigate to the Tools>Options menu and select the New Documents node followed by the Outlook node.  There should be a checkbox about halfway down the screen saying "Make the selected template the default for imported e-mails".  Try unchecking this option and retry from Outlook.

I realize that this may cause an issue with your processes, as you may be relying on this template for your imported emails and attachments, but for now I'm just trying to pinpoint the cause of this issue.

That's very strange.  I think your best bet from here is to have your VAR open a support case.  Our Support team has much more experience with error messages like this and they should be able to find out why the error is appearing and what to do to fix it.  Thanks for your patience!
