Index status Unknown after upgrading to 9.1

Hi,

 

I just upgraded from 9.0.0.460 to 9.1.1.486 and did not reindex. After the upgrade I can see in admin console that the Index status is 'Unknown'. When I click on Index or try to open the Properties I am getting  '9464: This catalog is from an earlier version of Laserfiche'. I kwno that i will have to reindex but Is this error normal ? Do we have to reindex when upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1 ?

Run C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\LFFTS\CatalogUpgrade.exe and see if that addresses the issue.

As mentioned in the release notes, you do have to update the search catalog if you upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1. There were changes made to the full-text search that require you to re-index your repository.
