There isn't a ScanConnect 8.1. You should be using ScanConnect 8.3 which can work with Laserfiche 9.1.1

You are probably referring to KB 1012298 which contains a hotfix for Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.0. The fix in that KB is an updated ScanConnect.exe file (not to be confused with ScanConnect, the product, itself). What I mean is that if you just install Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.0, without also installing any version of ScanConnect, you'll see the existence of the file mentioned in the KB.

Hi Alex, that's strange as my customer sent me screen print showing version 8.1.0.440.
Please refer to my previous comment. The ScanConnect.exe file is an executable that ships with Laserfiche Scanning (not ScanConnect) and is used in conjunction with the ScanConnect product. So again, there is no actual ScanConnect 8.1 product. Your customer is using Laserfiche Scanning 8.1.0 with some version of ScanConnect (8.0 or 8.3).
You can refer to the Client 8.1 packing list for clarification.
