Question

Conditional Starting Rules Not Running

asked on March 26, 2014

A customer recently moved their Workflow service to a new server for better performance.  After the move, all of the Business Processes for a workflow can be started from the client, but none of the conditional starting rules will initiate based on creation, change, etc..  All of the configurations for the workflow services and workflow sessions look correct.  They all reflect the correct server names for both the workflow and laserfiche servers, as well as, valid user credentials.  They all return correct metadata information in the workflow designer.  Any ideas of where else to check?

Check out the Subscriber Trace to see if the Subscriber is connected to the repository and processing rules.

In the subsciber node, it states the Subsciber was not connected to the repository.  Resolved the problem by adding the Subscriber to the Repository in the Server Configuration node.  Thanks.

Hello,

We recently created a new repository. The repository is not showing up or listed in the Subscriber Tracer log. How can we connect this new repository so it is monitored by Workflow Subscriber?

Thank You,

Zach Merrill

You can add it either through the Configuration Manager or from the repositories node in the WF Admin Console.
