Question

Rescan adds page after last page instead of replacing current page?

asked on March 26, 2014

Hi All,

In quick fields 9.0.0.427 if I scan pages and try to rescan an image instead of replacing the selected page it adds the page after the last scanned page of the last document.

Has any one else seen this behavior?

In the online help it says

Rescanning

During Revision, you can rescan a document or page, replacing the existing image with a newly scanned image.

I am selecting the page I want to rescan from the thumbnail view so that it's image is dispalyed in the main image pane. Selecting the rescan option from the right click menu.

I am using TWAIN with a Panasonic KVS-4065c scanner.

Hi Andrew,

I just tested this out with Quick Fields 9.0.0.441 and the Laserfiche Capture Engine. When I rescanned an image from the revision pane the original image was replaced and I was left with just the new scan, as expected. I tried this both by selecting the document to rescan from the revision pane and selecting it from the thumbnails pane.

Try hotfixing to the most recent version of Quick Fields. If the problem still persists, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
