Can I use the state of a business process as the basis of showing or hiding a portion of a form?

In other words, when the form goes from A to B, it shows one portion of the form. If it goes from A to C, it shows a different portion.

Currently Forms Field Rules are not business process step based. You can create different forms have different portions used for different steps(state) in this case.

Show/hide fields using field rules based on process step is supported in new form designer with Forms 11 Update 3.
