Recycled Entry not appearing in recycle bin

I have a few documents that were deleted/recycled. Audit Trail confirms this. Yet, these documents do not appear in the recycle bin.

 

I have sorted by Entry ID and other columns and cannot find them.

I queried the database in the TOC table and found that the ParentID of these documents is 625487. It should be 2 (for recycle bin). 625487 is not an entry I can find if I search in LF.

 

What happened? How can I recover these documents?

 

LF 8.3.2.755 server & client

It looks like when a folder is deleted, it ends up in the recycle bin but the entries do not. When I restored the folder, I found the entries.

 

Is there an easy way to find out if an entry is in the recycle bin, even when it is in a folder that is in the recycle bin?
