Hello,

Do you recommend a defragmentation product like Diskeeper for the LF8 application and database server?

What product do you recommend for defragmentation ?

We are experiencing speed issues when scanning and retrieving.

If you are running SQL then I recommend setting up a maintenance plan on the database.

I think a SQL maintenance plan as Blake mentions as well as periodic re-indexing of the repository through the Laserfiche Administration console should help. I find it is helpful to re-index periodically to keep the indexes as clean as possible. If there are bottlenecks after those are done I would opening a case through your VAR to troubleshoot.
