CPP Courses- what are the correct answers?

I am a new user on Laserfiche and have done some of the CPP courses. I find it frustating that after I get a 'fail' or just passed mark on the exam, that I cannot see the correct answers. A person learns from their mistakes right! When you get your result you don't know which question you got wrong, nor which is the correct answer to that question. Is there an answer key? Feeling worst after taking each course!

Hello all! Exam results are self-service and you may access the questions you missed (as they appeared on the exam) from the main CPP site.

To add to what Blake said, another reason we don't provide an answer key is that there isn't a way to prevent people from sharing it with others. We want the CPP certificates to mean something, so we went with the middle-of-the-road solution whereby we provide a list of questions that the user got wrong. They can then review that content and retake the exam, and hopefully score higher. :)

Hello,

The only flaw I see in the way the current exam results are displayed is say you fail the test two times, then you are re-enrolled into those classes and take the exam a third time (and fail it).

Now the exam results will show you all three attempts with no clarification as to which exam is which. There is no way to tell if the incorrect answers you are viewing are from attempt number one or the most current attempt.

I think a good solution to this problem is clearing out the exam results for that users account whenever they are re-enrolled into that course. That way you can see the most up to date results and not results from all of the previous attempts.

I understand about the 'Certificates meaning something'. For me, I am just trying to learn, that is my main goal.

Hello All

Im finding this course good but very challenging and when you take screenshots of all the content in each course this will help you in the exam.

If you email cpp@Laserfiche.com you can request a list of the questions you got wrong and what answer you provided. They do not provide the correct answers in the that case because then when you retake the exam you would have the answers to the test.

I have done so (e-mailed LF support) and they send you a excel spreadsheet of your answers that is really difficult to understand. Basically not helpful at all unfortunately.
