why can't i add anything to process modeler?

trying to create a business process for one of our new forms but process modeler is blank and can't add events, tasks, or gateways.  i tried copying form but same issue.  i don't want to delete and start over its a pretty big form.

This issue is fixed in the official Forms 9.1.1 patch from KB 1013483.

sorry didnt know to copy everything or just a certain field.  either way i tried using chrome, IE, safari, i always use firefox but still same issue.  im only having issues with that one form.  i can edit all my other forms except that one.

Can you attach your business process that has that form?

I'd recommend opening the browser console and checking if any error messages are reported there. Post them here and we will try to help.

Sounds like a browser issue. I get this with Chrome a lot. I use Firefox exclusively for when I build forms and the process modeler. Besides that, you can use most any browser that supports HTML5 to use the process/submit forms.

Was Forms recently upgraded? Was this something that had worked fine previously using the same browser on the same computer? Try clearing out the web browser's cache and see if that addresses the issue.

I started experiencing the same issue with one of my forms this morning. I upgraded to 9.1.1 Friday morning. I experienced no issues all day. I started back this morning and all seemed fine but now the Process Modeler is blank and I'm unable to do anything. The form is still intact but that's useless without the modeler. 

 

I use FireFox strictly for LF Forms. I tried the Form in Chrome this morning with the same results...no luck.

 

Any ideas?

I should mention that if I start the process everything works as it should; emails are sent, the .tif file and attachments are saved to the repository.

Armando, did you ever figure out what the issue was concerning the missing Process Modeler? I've had the same happen and, like you, do not want to start over as the process/form was near completion.

i stopped working on that form but i just checked and yes the issue is still there.  if there's no fix for it i'll probably just redo the form.

I am experiencing the same problem with to Processes in Forms. It does not matter which browser I user (IE11, Chrome, Firefox, etc.). I have tried exporting and re-importing the Process, but the problem persists. Each time it happened after adding a task to the Process Modeler. The task looked weird when it was added. When I clicked Save is when it went blank.

i recreated form and i am having the same issue.  i ran the patch update and didnt solve anything.  any ideas or updates on how to fix this?

This sounds like it may be an issue with the browsers compatibility with Forms.  Have you tried using other web browsers?
