Question

First Page of Scanned Document's Gets Skipped

asked on March 10, 2014

I have a user that is having to insert a blank page (any piece of paper really just to get past the first page)  before scanning their documents due to LF not picking up on the first page.  This is in conjunction with the "Before First Page" radio button selelcted prior to executing a scan.  Just wondering if there is any setting that is disallowing the first page to be picked up.  Thanks!

Does this issue occur when just scanning a new document instead of scanning into an existing document? Is it possible that this user in question has "Page Removal" configured in Laserfiche Scanning to remove the first page?

Are you saying that if he chooses "After page X" when scanning into a document, the first page is not skipped when scanning?

What scan engine are they using?

LF Scanning 9.0 (9.0.2.278), not sure of the scan engine they are using but what I was saying is any document(s) scanned, whether it's 1 page or 197 pages, the first page doesn't get scanned over into Laserfiche, but the rest do.  Thanks for the help!
