I would like the ability to create tokens using a Pattern Matching activity like what is currently in Workflow. I would also like to be able to retrieve values from a task that happened previously in the process. For instance, at the beginning of a process I assigned a user a task. After it passes their task it may go through several other user tasks, which each have the ability to approve or deny. If it is denied by one of these users I would like to be able to notify the previous users in the process that it was denied so everyone is informed.

Thanks for the feature request! We're currently looking at improving variable management and investigating features that will make variables more useful.

In the meantime, you should be able to accomplish what you're asking about by routing to an email service task after a task is denied. It might not get you all of the information you want, but you should be able to inform the appropriate people that the form has been denied.

Just for more information, I would expect it to work similar to Workflow so when you are setting up activities you have access to all previous activities information.

I would really like to not have to use a secondary hidden field that relies on Javascript to take a date field and separate out the year just so I can use that when assigning a year field in a save to repository service task
