Feature Request: Ability to Include Step Instructions & To-Do Lists

When setting up a BP in Workflow you can include instructions to the user when the document gets to their step in the process. It would be useful if the same functionality was available in Forms.

UPDATE: It would also be great if t would be nice to be able to have a check list for a specific user task and be able to make certain items in the list required to be checked off before sending the form on.

Thanks for the feature request. We're investigating the ways to facilitate communication at the various levels in Forms for an upcoming release. If you could provide us with a detailed use case for why you need this feature, that would be very helpful.

That is correct. It would be similar to what BP's in Workflow allow for.

In addition to this, it would be nice to be able to have a check list for a specific user task and be able to make certain items in the list required to be checked off before sending the form on.

I know this could be done by adding a checkbox field to the form itself, but that would require making a new form for each user task since each one would have a different check list.

Just wanted to check and see if step instructions and check lists for Forms are being considered? I know you can do check lists in BPM, but I think that is a feature that should be native to Forms.

This is coming in a way to Forms, with Laserfiche Answers, whenever that comes out as part of the product offerings.

EDIT: And also, you can use a custom HTML field to give instructions at different points in a form.
