Can groups be used to Allow/Deny access in Mobile? If so, are we talking domain or Laserfiche groups?

 The Quicker, Better, Safer: Mobile book indicates that

 

It is possible, for

example, to block the administrators group or other high-powered groups from accessing

the repository with Laserfiche Mobile.

 

it shows this being done on the Authentication page of the "Connection" section. I do not find any documentation on this in other help files, etc. Is this feature supported? If so, is this for domain groups, laserfiche groups or both?

Hi Tim,

 

Please see this help page regarding setting up the authentication options for Laserfiche Mobile. Unfortunately, the information presented in the book for this scenario isn't accurate in that only a list of individual users (Laserfiche or Windows) can be configured to be allowed or denied access. We'll be correcting this in a future revision of the book.

 

However, I'll speak with our development team about adding this ability in a future release of Laserfiche Mobile.
