Is it possible to import IDX files to SQL or extract information from them?

Is it possible to import IDX files into SQL server or any other kind of database, or are they a proprietary Laserfiche File Format?

 

I am interested in seeing if I can mine any data from the index files.

They are proprietary and the format changes as we add features to our full text search engine.  Is there something in particular you want to find out?

There's not a particular piece of data that we're looking for at the moment.

 

However, we were hoping to comb through the IDX files and see if we could extract anything useful.
