Canceled processes cannot be resumed.

Currently, I am not aware of any way to do that, however there has been hints about a Forms API in the future (no mention of when though) that would potentially offer additional connectivity between outside applications and Forms. It might be something that eventually becomes possible if the API will allow it in the future.

It would be nice if any Form that cancelled itself would allow you to resolve the isue that caused the stop and to allow it to continue. Maybe even a "Try-Catch" type of sequence

Since this is almost a year old now, I wanted to see if anything had changed with this or is it still not possibly to restart a Terminated Forms Instance?

Thanks

Nope, still not possible. I heard they are looking into the ability in the future that instead of terminating an instance, it would put it in a suspended state so it could be dealt with, but no idea when that feature will be available.

If process is cancelled manually by Process Admin, it cannot be restarted.

In the next version, we'll improve the behavior when process user task assigned to non-exist user it won't terminate the process.

What's the main cause for your process to terminate, Derick?

Over the past couple of month every once in a while when Forms does a Sync, it turns all my users as Invalid.  Then I do a quick manual sync and they all are Valid again.  So they are terminating for the reason that you stated because they are invalid so Forms cannot find a valid user for the assigned task.  This has caused a bit of an issue lately because we have several important internal processes now and I have no idea when the sync is going to put all my users in as Invalid.  So I am working on trying to figure out why the sync is changing my users to Invalid.

Hello Derick,

A good place to start, is the application logs. Usually most of the Forms errors are recorded there.

Thanks for the Suggestion, but I did view the logs and there is nothing that points me in the right direction.  On 4/6 @ 7:00am someone submitted a Form and it went through process perfectly.  Then on 4/6 @ 10:00am someone submitted the same Form process and by that time the Sync had happened and nothing was put into the Event Viewer, but all my users were set as Invalid.  So when the Form submitted @ 10:00am tried go to the next assigned person, it threw and error in Event Viewer saying no valid user found and the process terminated.  So unfortunately when a Forms Sync happens, nothing get entered into the Event Viewer.

What version of Forms are you using? Please include the full build. You should be able to find it from the top right drop down > About.

Hello,

I just wanted to see if Laserfiche has addressed the concern of being able to restart a form in a terminated state.  My situation was my reject conditions needed to be edited so when the user rejected the form(she realized she did not need to after the fact),  it was terminated, but I have now fixed it.  I would like to be able to start the form back up instead of having to re-enter the form again.

Thanks

Has anyone been able to identify if Laserfiche has an undelete or restart the process?

I have an issue where I stopped the process and now it is stuck in Canceled.  I cannot start it up again.

Thank you
