asked on February 28, 2014

Hello,

Will Laserfiche be adding the compatibility with Office 360 and Google Docs? At present Alfrecso We're seeing a small shift towards these products and wondering if the integration will be more important in the future.

Is there any update on integrating with Google Docs?  We also have a customer that would like to upgrade to Rio but might not do so if there is not a Google Doc integration.

Thanks,

Hello Ben,

There aren't any immediate plans to integrate Laserfiche with Office 360 and Google Docs, though this is certainly something we will consider for a future release. Do you envision the integration being realized on the Laserfiche-side, where users can view Office 360 or Google Docs documents directly from within Laserfiche clients?

I imagine using Google Docs or Office 360 to edit the document - making use of simultaneous edits and other benefits of those products - but saved to Laserfiche for centralised storage, records management and workflow benefits.

I guess that's a "yes"
