Permission Denied. [9013]

asked on February 27, 2014 Show version history

When running a scheduled session, I'm getting the 9013 error (Permission Denied). I am running Quick Fields Agent tool under the Local System account. Does this account need to have access to the Universal Capture search folder and the Laserfiche repository for which the session is set up to use?

I thought the account configured in the session was used during when the schedule ran.

Versions are LF 8.3.1.

If the universal capture directory is on a network location then quick fields agent needs to run under a windows service account with access to that location. The account credentials stored in the QF session will only affect the connection to the laserfiche server. They have no bearing on windows permissions.

Chris is right that the service account for QF Agent needs rights to the Universal Capture directory, However, 9013 is a Laserfiche Server error, so it's got nothing to do with Universal Capture.

"Permission denied" is a pretty generic error, so it is hard to say what is wrong just from the message.

If you right-click the schedule in QFAgent's Admin Console and choose Analyze from the context menu, you will get a list of the individual runs by time. Pick the one with the error and look at the Errors tab. It should list the error along with debugging in formation. Please paste the whole message here.
