Two Laserfiche documents should be one

We are having a problem where Snapshot saves an Excel spreadsheet as two documents rather than one in Laserfiche 8.3. It doesn't always happen. Is there a known reason for this and how can it be fixed?

I want to say it's a setting in the Snapshot Configuration, but I'm not at a computer with it installed to verify. You may take a look at the configuration settings and see if you can find anything.
