asked on February 25, 2014

 Let's say I have Field1 and Field2.  Can I create a "dynamic field?" called Field3 that displays (Field1 & Field2)

You could. You would have to create a view in SQL that combines those values and then use that for your dynamic field. But, since both fields are already on the document, what is the point of setting a 3rd field that just lists the 2 values together?

Is this for the Laserfiche Client?

This is for a customer who is asking about this.

Seems Field1 is seen only by this group of users. Field2 is seen only by another set.

But another group needs to be able to see both fields. I believe these fields contain the same information but to each group, it means something different.
