We currently have all personnel that scan/print on client 9.0 and they're able to access the server just fine but the rest of our clients are using the 7.2.1 Viewer, which is compatible and has always worked, are now getting the "unknown error 6000". I have researched it here and using the help in LF and all DCOM settings are correct on the server and client computers. We are using Windows XP SP3 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Thanks!

If DCOM is configured properly, then the issue may be firewall related. Even if a firewall isn't in use, I'd still recommend the following:
1. See KB 1000765 for information about configuring the Laserfiche Server to use FCC 7.2. Note that you would have needed to install this component as part of the Laserfiche Server 9 installation.
2. See KB 1011024 for information about configuring the Laserfiche Client to use FCC 7.2.
