Question

In Forms 9.1, how do you set it so any authenticated user can submit a form?

asked on February 23, 2014

It seems that you have to specify every user, or specify a group that those users are in, so that they can start a Business Process. It does not default to allowing everyone to submit that form if it's published.

The "everyone" group was something you could add in Forms 9.0, but doesn't appear to be a valid option in 9.1. How can I make it so all Named users in a repository can submit a form that has been Published?

Forms team will address this issue in future release, a potential enhancement solution is to add "all authenticated users" group in the system security page.

Honestly I think the only way to do this is to make your own Everyone group yourself and add that. If all of your users are windows accounts you should be able to add the all domain users group to a group in laserfiche, then add that in forms. That way if a new user is added to the domain they'd be added in Forms as well. If they are not a named user they will just get a license error instead of a incorrect login error.

Good idea - hopefully this workaround is only needed temporarily.
