Question

Image Processing Settings - Save and Recall

asked on February 20, 2014

We have several sets of complex image processes (crop, pad, resize, ocr, rotate, ect.)  that we load up several times a day, we switch between them depending upon the task.  I would like to be able to save these settings and recall them in Laserfiche.  I have looked for a file with the settings, but could not find it.  Also explored the registry a bit, but thought I would ask here before I looked into it further.  I thought that if I found it I could set up the processes, copy it to a folder, and create a batch file to switch between different sets of processes.

The other idea I had was to use a workflow to work these processes, but I have no idea how I would do that other than to script it into the workflow.  All ideas are welcome!

Saving different process configurations is only available in Quick Fields, not in LF Scanning.

Thank you for the reply Miruna - but they must be stored somewhere, and not on the server because settings do not migrate with users to different machines.

They're stored in the user attributes. The attribute gets saved with the current settings every time you close scanning.

It sure would be helpful to have image processing save and load, just like with advanced search.
