why isnt laserfiche picking up epson gt-s80 scan settings?

newly installed epson gt-s80 scanner but laserfiche is not recognizing scanner settings. paper size is set automatically to maximum and paper source is also automatically set to automatic. any ideas? previoulsy had epson gt-s50 worked ok but not fast enough. settings did show up with the s50.

Are you attempting to configure it using TWAIN or ScanConnect(ISIS)?

Are you able to select scanner properties and change them from the driver?

I've sometimes found that my scanner options won't appear properly until I run the client once as administrator. Even if you are an admin, you still need to right click and select "Run as Administrator", this will sometimes clear up issues with Scan Client registering the scanner.

TWAIN, i ran client under administrator and still same issue.

TWAIN drivers do not have a strong standard and scanner manufacturers tend to implement their own customizations to them. So Laserfiche can only pick up the properties that the scanner returns over the standard calls.

Did you install the TWAIN Driver for the new scanner?

yes, all drivers were installed.
