You must install the language packs for scanning manually. You may already know how to do that, but here are the steps just in case:

  1. Install Web Scanning
  2. Make sure Web Access is currently using the language you wish to get a language pack for.
  3. Launch Scanning. In the Basic/Standard dialog, there should now be a link to download the language pack for the current language:
  4. After installing the language pack, launch Scanning again. Scanning will automatically match the language being used in Web Access once the language pack is installed.

If you wish to deploy the scanning language packs yourself, all language packs are found on the Web Access Server under C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files\Scanning by default.

It is possible to do a passive (only progress bar) or quiet (no UI)  install of the language packs. Using Command: <yourfilepath>\lfscanning_lp_ar.msi /quiet or <yourfilepath>\lfscanning_lp_ar.msi /passive (where _ar is the Arabic language code).
