Sharepoint Integration 8.2 for Sharepoint 2010 continues to fail during install?

 During the install process the Installation continues to fail and says the install will be rolled back in the background.  They have actually tried to install this on more than 1 box and continue to have trouble.  Has anyone else ran into issues installing this product in the past.  We have tried to use Microsoft Fix it, but still have not been successful with getting the Integration piece installed on the SharePoint server.

The installation will roll back if the SharePoint BDC isn't installed. To confirm that's the issue, you can create a support case and log the installation and provide the log to support.

 

The workaround for said issue would be to run the msi directly and pass in parameters. An example would be

 


"C:\...\en-US\Install\SPIInstallation_x64_en.msi" REBOOT=ReallySuppress ADDLOCAL="Complete" INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Laserfiche" LICAGREETYPE=ENDUSER SPVERSION=2010 SEARCHCONNECTOR=0 IIS_INSTALLED=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL
