Question

Is there a way to export a form for use in another Laserfiche repository?

asked on February 11, 2014

I have built a complex form using our VAR kit.  I would like to export the form rather than rebuild it since there are many rules involved in the form.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Jen

This is available in Forms 9.0. You can refer to this help page for more information.

You can export the business process as an .xml file. This will include the form. Then just import the .xml file into the other Forms server.

Thanks, Alex.  Is this option available in Forms 9.0 or do you need 9.1 to export the business process?

For anyone who needs this information, the Export option can be accessed from the Manage Business Processes page.  The Export button is next to the Copy button on the tool bar.  The help page that describes this can be found at http://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/laserficheforms/9.0/en-us/forms/#Manage.htm?Highlight=xml.

To copy, export, or delete the selected business process, use the buttons at the top of the list.

WHAT LIST?

Edit: Oh I found it. I was looking all over for a list, it all makes sense when you check a check box next to one of the processes.
