Can a LF 9 Briefcase be imported into a LF 8 system?

Have a customer that I'm using Workflow to create a new folder structure and change some Template info for on our system. We are using LF 9, they are using LF 8 and we're planning to do this via Breifcase...I know that LF 8 can be imported into LF 9, but what about a LF 9 briefcase being imported into a LF 8 system?

Yes, you can import a briefcase from LF 9 into an LF 8 repository.
