It is possible to save the webpage source as an html file and then use the DocumentImporter DLL to save the file into the repository.

If you want the page as an image, you will have to use another program/DLL to render the page to an image and then you can use DocumentImporter to save the image into the repository.

The DocumentImporter DLL does not have any tools in it to convert html to image.

Kumud,

I am not certain exactly what you meant by "document importer" is this another software package.  I did a quick google search for the name documentimporter and nothing clearly came up that I could associate with your question.

Their are several ways to get a website into Laserfiche client.

1.) Use Snapshot to print the website into your repository. You will need to have Snapshot loaded which is done during the client install.  As long as you are set there you can print your website directly into Laserfiche by selecting print in your browser, selecting snapshot as your printer and completing any options from the dialog window that appears.

2.) If you do not have Snapshot loaded you could print your webpage to a PDF file and then drag and drop or import the PDF file into your repository.

I hope that answered your question, if not I will be happy to help further if you can clarify your question a little more.

John
