Question

How can you seperate forms into tabs to capture info in a group?

asked on February 5, 2014

I have a very long list of items i want to capture in Forms, and i saw in one of the Empower classes that you can use CSS and scripting to accomplish this. Where can i find the code he was displaying?

I'd try using collapsible sections on your form to present users with manageable chunks of fields. They're easy to use and might be what you're looking for.

If you do want to replicate the fake pagination you saw in my class (I'm guessing it was BPM 251: Advanced Laserfiche Forms), the code and sample business process are available on the Support Site here.

As you're looking over the sample form (the multi-page job application), take note of the Custom HTML used on the form, as well as the CSS classes added to the sections.

I am on my VM from Empower 2014. When I run the Job Application form, I get the Job Application Form (As expected). However, when I try to edit the form, I get the expense report. Anyone else experiencing this?

So, when you open the Form Designer for the process it is taking you to the job application form and not the expense report? Can you select the expense report in the drop-down menu to open it?
