Question

Disabling Compatibility Mode Warning

asked on February 3, 2014

We embed a browser session in another application to view documents.  Disabling the Compatibility Mode for Intranet sites setting does not work to prevent the alert, even with WA 9.1 installed.

Is there a way to disable that warning entirely?

See the information in KB 1013358 to hide the warnings.

Editing the Styles.css files worked.

You may try the options listed here.

Thanks Blake, however since the browser is embedded into our core business application, I'm not able to change the Compatibility Mode settings of the browser.   I tried changing them in IE, but the embedded browser appears to have it's own settings that I can't edit.

I was hoping I could just disable the prompt that Web Access is displaying with the link to the Laserfiche Support KB.
