Can I make an existing Workflow a Business Process?

If I already have an existing Workflow that a customer has been using...can I make the Workflow a Business Process or do I have to re-write the entire Workflow?

Yes, you can. Just check the box labeled "Make this workflow a business process" in the properties pane for the workflow. You can add business steps and drag activities in them to reorganize it.
