Question

Additional MS Exchange integration functionality with Workflow 9

asked on January 30, 2014

The recent addition of the Integration with Exchange Servers functionality with Workflow 9.1 is definitely promising but the current options only appear to handle creating/updating/deleting tasks, appointments, or contacts.

Are there any plans in the near future to add a workflow activity to import emails and attachments from exchange into Laserfiche while capturing metadata?  Thank you!

There are plans to allow Workflow to subscribe to mailboxes in Exchange and either import the emails into Laserfiche or wait for emails to arrive (as an activity/wait condition). They're not necessarily near future.

is there any development for ms Exchange integration with workflow?

Some Customers request to get their email archive and indexing in laserfiche repository.

But do not want to use third-party solution.

Any update on this.

Customer would like to capture email with a special email account and transfert all the email with attachement in laserfiche and get process by workflow and or quickfield to grab information and index the attachment.

Ditto! A native Laserfiche integration with EWS API for Emails would be fantastic.

I have 6 clients that could use this in multiple areas. We need this solution sooner than later.

I have been using Automatic Email Manager for years to grab attachments and emails from inboxes and send to a folder for Import Agent to pick up.

I also use it to email things from Workflow for printing.

Worth a look and very affordable.
