I have a customer that would like to view the security set up for Public Portal in Rio. The customer would like to use Public Portal for both internal users (with authentication) and external for public documents. Is there a white paper that details this information?

I'm not sure about a white paper, but the Administration pages on Webhelp would be a good place to start learning about different types of authentication.
