How can I find out the size of an entire folder(including subfolders) in Laserfiche 7?
The user interface is slightly different in 7 and the information is slightly different (you get a document count only), but it is on the same dialog.
Right click the folder, select properties, select Folder tab. It will give you the following information about the folder, including text count which is a nice feature:
Child documents include all subfolders.
Of course, this works assuming you have the rights access rights to see this information (or might be a Feature or privilege that you need).
This works well in version 8.2.1 also except for Electronic Documents file information is not updated for some reason.

Thank you for your response. However Laserfiche 7 does not have the option that you are mentioning. I am logged in as admin so I should see all the files.
Is there another way through the db to calculate the folder size?
