There has been a funny glitch with LF Scanning for years now, and I was wondering if there has ever been a fix. After scanning and storing, the document doesn't show in the repository without first closing scanning. Is there a fix for this?

I just spoke to development, and confirmed that this was a bug. As of 8.3.1. it has been fixed in both the Client and Web Access.

I haven’t heard of any bug as you have described. It sounds like it could just be that the Laserfiche Client needs to refresh. Your documents enter the repository once you send them into Laserfiche, but the Client only refreshes so often. When Scanning closes, this forces the Client to refresh, which would explain why you aren’t seeing the documents until then. You can also force a refresh by pressing F5 within the Client. Try it next time before you close Laserfiche Scanning!
