Do not get "Starting Form Access" option.

Hello Everyone,

 

I have a question on how to get the Public Access Rights option back for a Form. Here is the sequence of event that I did while I was trying save incomplete copy of form option.

 

1. I went to an existing form that was setup with public access and opened up the Process Modeler.

2. Went to the previously setup  Message Event and checked "Allow users to save an incomplete copy of the form" option. 

3. Tried testing that feature but it did not work out for our used case for whatever reason.

4. Went back to the form's process modeler and unchecked the box to allow saving incomplete copy.

5. Now when I went tot he Access rights page for the same form, I do not get the option for setting up the form as Public Access form.

 

My question is, how can I setup this form back to public access form? Please see the screenshots and let me know if you would like to see more screenshots for clarification.

If you upgraded the customer to Forms 9.1, make sure you activated using the new activation key that's specifically for Avante Forms Portal. This is different than the activation key that's for Avante Standard Forms.

The option for public access is only available when you have the Forms Portal Add-on for your server. Could you confirm for me that you do have the Forms Portal Add-on?

Hey Eric,

 

Looks like they do have "Avante Forms Portal" as a part of their license.

Also, it was set up as public form in the past and accessible to the public users within the firewall.

Hey Eric,

 

So here is how I was able to get those options back. Reactivated and replaced the LF Forms with Forms portal License. Restarted the services and it came back. So not sure if its a bug but that fixed the problem.

 

Thanks for your help. Let me know if you would like to me get you some logs to further troubleshoot this issue.
