I have a workflow that starts from a randomly named scanned document. Consequently, the workflow lists this random name in the Starting Entry column of the Workflow Search Results. Soon after it starts, the workflow renames the entry based on metadata entered by the user. How can I see the current entry name in the search results? Seeing a meaningful name would make supporting the users much easier.

Question
How can I see the current entry name in the workflow search results?
Answer
The search results only list the original document name, not any changes that occur to it during the workflow. Workflow does not keep information on the current name of a document.

I've found the best way to support users with this is to teach them "how to ask for help" by always providing you with a few example document entry ID's. Turning on the entry ID column doesn't generate additional overhead on the server (unlike a field entry) because it's always inherently known.
Once you explain to them that by providing the ID # you can trace a document back through all of the steps since it's been created your users will generally understand this is a needed troubleshooting step and will not balk at having to provide that ID to you.
This would be a great enhancement. I can see the new entry name on the Entries tab once I select a specific row in the search results but that's quite a few clicks just to realize that is not the entry I need after all. Thanks for your quick response.
