Weblink increasing the number of context hits

I have followed the instructions in KB 1012805 To change the number of context hits in WebLink 8, edit the SearchResults.xsl page.

Open SearchResults.xsl by navigating to [InstallDirectory]\Laserfiche\WebLink 8\Web Files\xsl\SearchResults.xsl.
Look for the line: xsl:for-each select='ContextHits/ContextResult[position() < 6]'
Replace the last number (in this example, the number 6) with a number that is one digit more than the number of context hits you want displayed. For example, if you want 25 context hits displayed, enter the number 26.

I increased the number from 6 to 400 but only 20 context hits are being displayed. How can I increase this number?

For reference, you are talking about this KB Article:

Please take my comments with a grain of salt as I am not 100% this is the reasoning.

I would assume that the amount of results you specified is out of range of the maximum allowed and thus it is defaulting to a nice round number, say 20, and not the 400 you wanted. If this is the case, maybe try a smaller number, say 50, then continue increasing it in intervals until it fails again. This is what I would try. (I would try 99, 149, 199, etc...)

Let me know how this works for you. If this is not the cause of the problem, then hopefully another member can answer this question for you more appropriately.

EDIT: Ignore everything, Alexander made an SCR for you and didn't realize that before posting.

The max number I can get is 33. I hope this can be fixed. When searching larger documents for a particular word limiting the number of hits gives you incomplete results.

Have there been any updates for SCR 111159? I'm running into the same issue (only the first 20 Context Hits are displayed) in WebLink 9. We have a customer who would like to see all hits, so I'm trying to increase the number that is displayed.

The kb article 1012805 has being update, it contains the following note at the bottom:

"WebLink can display a maximum of 20 context hits per entry. "

Also according to Development, the same limit applies to Weblink 9.
