Question

Is there a way to tell what size a page was when it was scanned, such as 8.5x11 or 8.5x17 rather than the resolution?

asked on January 14, 2014

One of our clients is wondering if there is a way to tell what size the physical page is that was scanned to a tiff image that they have in their repository. Is there a way to find this? From what I have seen there isn't, but I wanted to check and see in case I missed something.

Thanks,

Cody

The Laserfiche desktop client tells you both the pixel count and resolution of a page.  The document I'm looking at is 2560 x 3300 at 300 x 300 DPI, which means it is 8.5 x 11 in.  Web Access tells you the dimensions but not the resolution, so you'll have to make an educated guess there.
