Question

Security on Document Pages

asked on January 13, 2014

Does anyone know of a way using any means necessary that we can restrict access to certain pages of a document.  In our scenario it is not feasible to break the document pages into separate documents in order to restrict access.  We thought of redacting the entire pages but this is quite labor intensive, and still would at the very least leave behind a blank white page.  Any suggestions are welcome.

No, there is no page-level security.

Thank you for your response, but I am already aware that there is no built in page security.  I was fishing for ideas outside of standard functionality.

Have you considered splitting up the document into several documents and applying security on each document as necessary? You may be able to use QuickFields to assist you in categorizing your pages.
