How to integrate external OCR with Laserfiche

Hello

Kindly, How to integrate external Arabic OCR software with Laserfiche Client?

I have many OCRs which support Arabic language, how can I deal with them with Laserfiche product?

 

Please give me any help or other aids to accomplish Arabic OCR.

Hi Wesam,

 

The best way to integrate third party OCR software with Laserfiche really depends on your use case.  If you want to perform your OCRs from the desktop client, your best bet will probably be to wrap your OCR engine in a custom utility built with the Laserfiche SDK.  You can then place a custom button on the toolbar to launch that utility when you've selected a document.

Thank you sir Brett for your answer. I want to use OCR in capture process to get text search from photo document. Please explain your answer above, or guide me about some link which explain the matter.

We can help you with that, we have the Sakhr OCR and we can integrate it with Laserfiche.
