We are trying to use the license manager. We can successful register the server, however when trying to perform any action or get any information we get error 2021 "The user failed to be authenticated". I can't find any authentication steps in the Rio Deployment guide. It just says to install and register. It was working for awhile then one day we started getting this message. It still works when we use it directly on the same server the license service is installed on.

Is the user in the local administrator group on the LM server where the service is running? Or been added as a license administrator in LM? By default if they are in the local administrator group that would take care of it all I would think.

Registering the server by IP instead of computer name fixed the problem.

Are you seeing any errors in the Application Log on the Laserfiche Server?

Tons of errors in the Application Log on the server. They are SQL Errors reported by lflicmgr
The user is both a local administrator on the system and added as a license administrator.
