Droid App

asked on January 3, 2014

Has anyone tried using the Droid App?  I downloaded and configured, but when I try to connect, my device says "The server could not be found", however, if I use an Ipad app with same settings, it connects just fine?

What's your LFS, WA and add-on server's version?

If all are the newest, would you please try to put the full server name with domain information too, e.g. [servername].laserfiche.com/mobile? Or can you try IP if possible?

Hi Daryl,

Are you using demo mode or trying to connect to your own server?

If it's the later case, you might want to use the url as http(s)://[servername]/mobile

The old url format that ends with /laserfiche probably won't work with new app.

Thank you.

Trying to connect to my own server...I tried using Mobile instead of Laserfiche as well and that did not work either.

Interesting that we need to use the IP address - I noticed the same issue. I wonder if the built in VPN software on iOS is somehow referencing correct internal DNS information and the VPN I use on the Android device (Cisco Anyconnect app) is not.
