I am not clear on what you are asking here. Are you saying that once you are done scanning the pages, it automatically stores the document and you want to be able to add another batch to the same document without ending that scan session? If so then there is an option that needs to be turned off. In Laserfiche Scanning, under File Menu click on Options. In General, uncheck "Store documents immediately after they are processed".
