Question

Distributed Processing Release and Pricing?

asked on December 26, 2013

Is Distributed Processing coming out of beta soon? It appears from notes in November that you expected it soon but I haven't seen anything yet.

Also, I know you won't be able to actually post pricing, but am I correct in assuming there is a cost? (and is that cost only for Avante and included with Rio?)

We're looking at a release very early next year. The pricing information is not finalized yet.

We're in the process of wrapping everything up. Hopefully a couple weeks at this point, as part of the release of Laserfiche 9.1.1.

During the Empower 2014 Conference course "Configure and Administer Distributed Processing" the Laserfiche instructors said that Rio users would get one Distributed Processing worker node with the Rio license but other licensing/pricing details were not available.
