Merry Christmas! That option is not available in Laserfiche Forms, although you could probably get it working with Google's Geocoding API.

Why do you want this feature? I'm happy to pass along the feature request to the team but I need a bit more information.

hi Eric

one of my prospect customer ask this requirements

when the delivery person deliver the goods to the customer location. delivery guy have to fill forms with certain information so that time we need to just confirm the time & delivery person fill the form on customer location so with Geo location we can track.

Note:- all service guy will use forms via Samsung Tab. FYI

Probably can use hidden fields and some javascript that on each click updates the two hidden fields with the latitude and longitude using some API of some sort and then you have those as tokens in a workflow

Thanks, I'll pass along that use case to the rest of the team. In the mean time, it looks like you could use the Geolocation API that is supported in most modern browsers to request the user's location. Here's a great article that explains more about using the API and how to get started.

Just to second this as a feature request. We have a use case with a County Social Services office in which social workers go to the homes of patients and complete a form as part of the service. They need to log their position to automatically fill in form fields, and roughly calculate mileage expenses.

What does your code look like? It could be an event issue with your JavaScript.

Were you able to get this working for Android or iOS?

I was wondering since the new LF Mobile App will be able to use LF Forms inside it if you enable that option, would it be possible to enable certain forms to only open in the mobile app so that we can have the app provide Geo-location information?

Can this be a feature request for the future?
