Hi,

I need to be able to set a default template and volume for all users. I thought by setting the default volume for a particular user that I could copy the [Settings]ImportVolume attribute from that user's attributes to the Everyone group's attibutes. Then it would be the default for all users, but it doesn't seem to be overriding the default that is set in their user or group profile's attribute. Even when I set it in their group that they're in it doesn't seem to take.

If the user already has an attribute set, that value will take precedence over Everyone's settings. You'd have to delete the current attribute for each user you want to inherit from Everyone.

To clarify, is [Settings]ImportVolume the correct attribute for settings default volumes on all new docs? Is there documentation available for all the attributes?

There are about 10000 attributes or so (every single possible use setting), and no, there isn't documentation available on every one. There is a guide to working with attributes with some of the most common items available on the support site. The best way to confirm an attribute name is to have a test user with cleared out attributes, set this setting as that user, close the client, and see what changed. There will be some things that change all the time (like current columns and things like that) but it should be pretty clear which ones are relevant.
