Question

Is anyone else having trouble with adding a logo to a form?

asked on December 18, 2013

In version 9.1 I am having a glitchy menu system for themes that causes lots of problems.

When I go to set the logo for a theme, it wants to remove some of the characters. When I finally get it set to something with a proper extension, I have been going and renaming the file to match so it all works but this is very annoying. Is this happening for anyone else?

I am using Firefox (latest updates applied) and the latest Forms 9.1

We definitely want to continue improving the usability of the Form Designer and the Themes page. When you customize a default theme, you have the option to save the updated version as a new theme that you can use later.

If you want your changes to apply to a lot of forms, you'll need to assign each of them the same custom theme. When you update the theme, click Add to Custom Themes and then specify the same theme name. This will update that theme for all the forms using it.

It looks like this is an issue with the auto-save behavior on the page. As a workaround, it might be easier for you to write out the path to the image and paste it into the text box rather than typing it there.

This is actually what I've been doing but i wish I could update a theme and set it for each form and it actually use that logo. I had a theme and set it to my forms and then added the logo but it didnt triculate to the other forms using that theme.

Is this considered a known bug and might be fixed in future hotfixes?

Great to hear that it will be enhanced in the future. It would be great to add an "Upload logo" button too to really simplify the process.
