Honeypot CAPTCHA Forms 9.1 Setup?

asked on December 17, 2013 Show version history

In the "What's New in Laserfiche Forms 9.1" document it states that there are two types of CAPTCHA to select from, honeypot CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA. In the "Release Notes for Forms 9.1" it gives instructions on how to enable reCAPTCHA, but I do not see anywhere that talks about how to enable honeypot CAPTCHA. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you want to use a CAPTCHA on the starting form of a process, you specify that in the message start event settings in the Process Modeler.

The note in the Release Notes KB is about an issue when upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1. In that case, there's some manual configuration required to enable the reCAPTCHA feature for the product as a whole. You'll need to ensure that your web.config file has the appropriate settings to tell Forms the keys to use for reCAPTCHA.

The honeypot CAPTCHA feature does not need any additional configuration. If you want to use it, just select the Enable Honeypot CAPTCHA checkbox on the message start event for the process.
